Here to Help You Grow
At Alloy Patent Law, we truly care about seeing your enterprise grow and ensuring your rights are protected. As a small business ourselves, we hold honesty, trust, and expertise in highest regard. That’s why we offer transparent pricing, individualized service, and reliable mentorship.
Our Mission & Our Clients
Alloy Patent Law is a patent law firm founded by an inventor for inventors. We strive to provide world-class legal services to small entities, not those backed by major corporations or venture capital.
Working for Small Businesses & Individuals
Inventors and small businesses are an overlooked demographic in the patent space. Major corporations file most patent and trademark applications, so someone needs to look out for the small entities and ensure they’re served properly. Alloy is proud to be an intellectual property law firm serving small entities and individuals like you.
Protecting Your Intellectual Property
Ensuring your intellectual property is filed and registered helps ensure that you’re the one who makes a profit off your creation. Corporations can be cutthroat by mimicking ideas and claiming them as their own. We’ll arm you with the documentation you need to get what you deserve.
Mentorship and Guidance
Since Alloy Patent Law is a small patent firm, it allows us to give you truly personalized business and legal advice. We will never give you advice we wouldn’t take ourselves. Our mission is to see you succeed, which is why we’re versed in business law as well as intellectual property law.
Meet the Founder
Walker began his career as a mechanical engineer. He worked in that capacity for over a decade, designing and building aircraft assembly machines. During that time, he worked with other inventors and engineers who sought patents for their creations. That’s when his eyes were opened to the importance of patents and intellectual property.
While still working as a full-time engineer, Walker began studying law at the Seattle University School of Law. He graduated Magna cum Laude in 2013 with an emphasis on Intellectual Property law. Alloy Patent Law was founded in 2014, and since then, he has served hundreds of individuals in protecting their intellectual property.

Data from the United States Patent and Tradmark Office tells us that it takes approximately 22 months to receive approval for a patent application. In some cases, it can be expedited to 6-12 months.
